A couple brought their two recumbents to my store yesterday. They had smacked their derailleur on the curb of the bridge over the river at the Western end of the Lehigh Valley path and it was partly sprung out: loose c-clip. Later in the day, two men came in who had witnessed the event. They were new to Freewheelers and had just come in coincidentally. They mentioned the recumbent rider’s accident, and I said “they were here earlier today.” Pure coincidence. My shop must be the psychic center of the universe.
My husband and I were the lucky couple that found our way to you by accident by way of a broken derailleur this fall. It was also the day that we learned of the friendliness of bike riders and the excellent service that is out there through our local shop owners. The bicyclists we met who stopped to help us out spent a considerable amount of time giving us a quick fix so we could ride back to our car. They also told us where to go for the repairs.
I can’t believe that they had not ever been in Freewheelers Bicycle Shop before. They knew enough about your reputation I guess to recommend you to people. I am very thankful that they did, too.
