I just sold a trailer to a couple that decided to go car-free. It comes from Sunlite and retails for $199 assembled by me. It has no assembly directions, or rather it came with directions for how to assemble all of Sun’s other trailers, but not this one.
Fortunately is is simple, I think.
It weighs a lot, holds 31″x31″ with side rails about 9″. Looks like you could carry more weight if you reinforced the bottom with a piece of wood and the precision of the work is poor. But it is cheap!
One day big Larry and I were riding on the Genesee Greenway trail and we came upon a rider with no pump. We were this side of Scottsville, about a mile from the village.
He had just finished installing a new inner tube and we literally gave him ours at the exact second at which he’d have reached for a pump if he’d had one. We watched as he inflated his tire, then silently rode off.
I loooked at Larry in puzzlement, but he quickly shook his head and said, “that guy is used to getting his prayers answered!”
